Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the client organization in transforming its ways of working by providing Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and agile training, coaching, recommendations, and establishing action plans to close adoption gaps. Each coach will work with 8-9 pods (similar to an ART) during the single wave.
  • Provide training to Client wave participants during a two-week bootcamp and support pods during breakout sessions.
  • Provide 1-on-1 support to teams preparing for PDLC rollout. This includes actively engaging with Sub-domain leaders during pre-work to understand current state and  participating in regularly scheduled ceremonies, reviewing the POM 2.0 playbook provided by client and facilitating working sessions to guide the client teams in applying it, observing and providing recommendations aligned with the POM 2.0 playbook and working directly with the pod leadership to help implement leading practices and standardize tools, metrics, and agile practices.
  • Develop tailored coaching plan for each team (e.g., pod / train) based on their analysis and baseline survey results gathered during the pre-work phase.
  • Document observations and recommendations weekly, track progress against key categories to measure adoption progress, and escalate blockers or decisions needed at the domain and sub-domain level.
  • Recommend improvements to POM 2.0 informed by rollout outcomes and team feedback.
  • Facilitate and support creation and execution of end of wave capstone presentations per each Sub-domain.
  • Following stabilization, coaches will create a plan based on observations and recommendations. The coaches will share this plan with the product managers (PM) and engineering managers (EM) and help them identify team members who can continue to help the teams improve and take the plan and recommendations forward.
  • The PDLC and POM2.0 documentation will be provided to the coaches selected for the engagement.
  • SAFe experience is very helpful.
  • Dates are July 15 - Oct. 9, 2026.

Delieverables:

  • Team assessment reports outlining strengths, gaps, risks, and recommendations.
  • Adoption and maturity tracking across product and Agile practices.
  • Action plans for creating and improving key product artifacts, including product vision, OKRs, roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, personas, and customer journey maps.

Requirements:

  • Must be available to start engagement on July 15th.
  • Must be located in the United Kingdom or India.
  • Maintain an active SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) 6.0 certification (mandatory).
  • Hold or pursue additional SAFe certifications (e.g., RTE, SA, SASM, LPM) as highly recommended credentials.
  • English-speaking environment (additional languages may be utilized depending on team needs)
  • Coaches are expected to provide regular progress updates and status reporting throughout the engagement.
